Michael Eng, 国产福利 Arts
Michael Eng graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in economics in 2009 鈥 not exactly the right time to launch a career in finance. He began working in restaurants while in high school and continued doing so even after graduating and beginning a 鈥渞eal鈥 job. His positive experience working at restaurants helped convince him to enroll in the career training programs at ICE. Eng learned basic Chinese cooking 鈥 including butchering a chicken with a cleaver and how to make dumplings 鈥 from his grandparents but also got a healthy dose of Jacques P茅pin, Julia Child and the Food Network鈥檚 programs growing up. He hopes to eventually open his own restaurant in New York. A frequent volunteer to culinary events around town, he is also an accomplished violin, piano and guitar player.
